You are Arms Race, a superhero with incredible powers.

Your arms are faster than a speeding bullet!
Your legs... exist. Maybe?
Your skin is completely impervious to conventional damage!
Your coordination is that of a drunk toddler.

Civilians are under fire, and you're the only thing standing between them and an ever-increasing hail of bullets.

Use your wildly overpowered arms to block incoming bullets for as long as possible!

How to Play

For this game, I was inspired by the the old-school ragdoll game QWOP. You’ll control each of Arms Race’s limbs individually. There are two control schemas available. Position your arms to intercept incoming bullets before they hit civilians.

If you go with STATIC, then you can control the exact angle Arms Race's upper arm and forearm. If you select this control schema, you will have to block bullets from three gunmen.

• Q + W – Raise / lower left arm
• O + P – Raise / lower right arm
• A + S – Flex left bicep / tricep
• L + ; – Flex left bicep / tricep

If you choose, you can switch to the PHYSICS controls. In this mode, your arms are affected by gravity and you only control their upwards motions. Since this is much more difficult to do, in this mode you only have to contend with two gunmen.

• Q – Raise left arm
• W – Bend left elbow
• O – Bend right elbow
• P – Raise right arm

About this game

This game was created for the "$5K GameName Game Jam" in April 2026, with the theme Invincible.

It is my first time creating a game without following along on a tutorial, let alone participating in a game jam. As you can tell, I am not artistically inclined - everything in this game was pulled from various free image sites.

I learnt a lot while making this game, most notably using 3D instead of 2D for the first time and all the physics implications therein. Additionally, this was my first time implementing things such as a scoring system, semi-complex collisions and UI/UX (can you tell??)

I really hope people enjoy the game, post their high-scores in the comments and save some civilians!
